The Vasse Felix Chardonnay 2013 displays a myriad of lush fruit and earth flavors. It is an excellent representation of its Margaret River terroir. In the glass, the wine is a pale straw yellow. Vibrant aromas of pineapple, white peach, and fresh ginger waft to the nose. Accents of wild mushroom, yeast, and fine oak add interest and balance even further layers of smoked charcuterie, spicy clove, and flint. The palate continues these flavors and is lush and mouthwatering. Notes of fruit, oak, and white peach abound.
