The Beaucanon M Cuvee Petit Verdot 2012 is an intensely flavorful red wine. Deep ruby red in the glass, this wine shows layers of floral and spice aromas. On tasting, the palate is rich and nicely balanced. Flavors of black cherry, cassis, and cedar are accented by notes of rose petal and boysenberry. The finish is focused and lingering. The grapes for this red wine were organically farmed in Napa Valley. They were picked by hand and fermented in open barrels. The wine finished with eighteen months of aging in French oak.
