The Colgin IX Estate Red 2008 is an inspired red wine blend from the Napa Valley. This complex red wine is an artful product of its terroir. The nose is alive with crushed rock, clay, and minerals, which open up to savory notes of musk and bay leaf. Aromas of black licorice, black cherry, and cassis add deep fruit layers. The palate is silky and filled with lovely layers of tannins.

This is a beautifully age-worthy red wine and should be relished after a long decant. Enjoy.
