Velvety flavor and elegance abound in the Clarendon Hills Hickinbotham Cabernet Sauvignon 2012. This red wine is a mesmerizing inky dark red in the glass, and rich aromas leap to the nose. Aromas of black fruit, incense, graphite, and espresso crème mingle artfully with a slight smokiness and intriguing mineral essence. The palate is excellently balanced, with strong and smoothly integrated tannins.

The grapes for this wine grew on vines that were planted in 1960 in McLaren Vale, Australia.  The wine was aged for 18 months in new French oak.
