Bold and decadent, the Michael David The 7 Deadly Zins Zinfandel 2013 is one unforgettable red wine. Exuberant flavors of pepper and spice introduce the wine, and then it artfully transitions into lush layers of fruit. Dried cranberries and dates mingle with flavors of warm Boysenberry pie. These flavors are mouthwatering and perfect for pairing with your favorite foods. Serve a bottle of this Zinfandel with robust and spicy dishes, such as grilled red meats. It would even go well with gourmet pizza, perhaps with spicy sausage.
A newer vintage of this wine is now available: Michael David "The 7 Deadly Zins" Zinfandel 2015.

This wine is one of my favourites! I purchased this looking for a new Zinfandel and I am so glad that I did! It is perfectly bold, and doesn't take over the palette so much that it takes away from the flavor of your food. I served this at a dinner party with a sausage and pepper penne and it paired perfectly! Would recommend this wine for sure!

Thanks for sharing! The spicy sausage does sound like a perfect pairing for this wine. -Kristin, Editor for TheWineBuyingGuide.com
