Preparation Time5 min
- 1 bottle Prosecco, well chilled
- 4 ounces Bourbon
- 4 sprigs fresh mint, leaves picked off the stems
- Sugar, if desired
In julep cups, place 4 to 5 mint leaves. Pour over 1 ounce of bourbon. If you'd prefer a sweeter drink, add 1/2 teaspoon sugar at this time.
Muddle the mint and bourbon in the bottom of the cup to release the flavors.
Fill cup with ice and top with Prosecco, about 3-4 ounces. Enjoy!

Yum, this looks delicious! I never would have thought to include sparkling wine in a mint julep, but that's a great idea.
